Description:
Alg-MA introduces a double bond in its backbone by modifying sodium alginate with a methacrylate group, which allows the polymer to be photocrosslinked in the presence of a photoinitiator. Methacrylation gives Alg-MA a photocrosslinked form while maintaining the basic bioactivity of alginate. Alg-MA is used to create naturally derived scaffolds and tissues by activating the photoinitiator in the ink from the sol-gel state primarily through light.
Note:
It is recommended to store in a sealed container and avoid exposure to light, heat and air.
