Description:
Alginate-GelMA is a composite bioink with both photocrosslinking and ionic crosslinking properties. Alginate-GelMA has better forming and mechanical properties than alginate bioinks alone, but its relatively weak biocompatibility may affect the conversion of cells to tissue after printing. Alginate-GelMA can solve a number of problems that exist when using alginate alone. In general, different cross-linking properties correspond to different cross-linked structural networks. The combination of alginate and GelMA can achieve a 1+1>2 printing effect, which not only has good biocompatibility, but also can form a biologic 3D structure with higher mechanical strength by double cross-linking.
