Description:

The addition of chitosan increases the formability of the collagen ink. Collagen-chitosan composite bio-ink has good biocompatibility and good formability. It is mainly used for printing into biological scaffolds with certain strength, which can be inoculated with cells after freeze-drying process. Based on the good biocompatibility of collagen-chitosan, the inoculated cells are easily viable and growable. These scaffolds have good mechanical strength and can be designed into multi-sized microporous structures for cell survival and migration, and can be used for skin, nerve conduction, vascular model construction, etc.
