Description:
GelMA is a photosensitive biomaterial that can be rapidly cross-linked and cured under blue or UV light when used with photoinitiators to form a three-dimensional structure with certain strength. This three-dimensional structure has cell adhesion sites and matrix metalloproteinase hydrolysis sites, which can well support cell proliferation and migration, and can mainly load tumor cells, cardiomyocytes, chondrocytes and other cells. The mechanical properties of the cross-linked hydrogel can be adjusted by changing the substitution degree and concentration of GelMA material. With the higher concentration of GelMA, the harder it is after curing. GelMA has good biocompatibility and is configured into mixed inks for bio-3D printing according to the characteristics of printed tissues, such as cartilage, skin, blood vessels, heart patches, etc.
Note:
The higher the GelMA concentration, the harder it will be after curing. The optimal concentration to use needs to be determined by the cell type and the purpose of your study.
For research use only, not intended for any clinical use.
