Photoinitiator, also known as photosensitizer or light curing agent, is a class of compounds that can absorb a certain wavelength of energy in the ultraviolet region (250 - 420 nm) or visible region (400 - 800 nm) to produce free radicals or cations, thereby triggering the polymerization of monomer cross-linking curing. In the light curing system, the photoinitiator in the acceptance or absorption of external energy after its own chemical changes, decomposition into free radicals or cations, thereby triggering the polymerization reaction.
