Description:
When gelatin is modified by thiolation, not only the properties of the 3D bioprinting aspect are changed, but also the way it is used. When using thiol-modified gelatin alone for 3D bioprinting, the cells do not grow well and do not survive well. So when you need to use thiolated gelatin, you need to be aware that it does not print well when used alone. Thiol-modified gelatin is generally used in conjunction with thiolated hyaluronic acid, which facilitates the printing of finer cell biology structures than gelatin bioinks alone. Thiolated gelatin will remain in liquid form after the temperature is raised above 15°C.
Note:
Need to be handled under nitrogen, avoiding air, oxygen and moisture.
